Hi, I'm Rachel.
My educational, professional, and life experiences have given me a passion for showing-up. I've learned from insightful teachers, worked with excellent staff and experienced amazing transformation when I've allowed myself to be truly seen over the years. It's my privilege to help people unpack their stories in order to find the deeper, sometimes hidden plots. It thrills my mind to listen fully, to engage without judgment, and to piece together holistic ways to move forward through heartache and difficult life seasons. I find coaching helpful in moving people forward quickly and holistically.
It’s a joy to hold space with clients while they tell their stories and then ask questions driven by curiosity not judgement. I have seen clients take steps to go back to school, apply to new jobs, finish their degrees, fine tune their resumes, and work through grief and divorce. Assisting families with ADHD and dyslexia is a passion since I feel strongly that these children are often misunderstood.
I am professionally strong at integrating multiple methodologies into the practice, while following a coaching paradigm. I have skills to integrate mindfulness, emotional regulation, habit formation, motivational assessments, and curriculum for uncovering people’s desires. There’s not just one way to Be with a person in the counseling/coaching process. Integrating multi-faceted systems can ignite people’s imagination and help them to change.
My family's personal needs have also taught me about my own dyslexia, as well as my children's. I'm a believer in being a life long learner, so reading books, trying new sports, engaging in new hobbies, and experiencing new parts of the world keeps me on my toes.
